On that day when I found myself offering Javad to translate his book on Sama’a, fell within the Kaïros, this instant which cannot be compared to anything else, which all of a sudden seizes hold of you, gives you with great enthusiasm and irrevocably reminds you that the Divine is here, at your side, so near.

I would like to thank Javad for having given me this opportunity to translate this text full of wisdom. It has enabled me to serve others and above all God Exalted whose presence was a real support throughout this work. This work, a real divine gift, was much more than a simple translation ; it has contributed to draw me even closer to Him.

This recollection of eloquence remarked by sages does come from where it refers to, moreover, it takes a faithful reader back to the source, thus, leaving no doubt about the chain of transmission. This book is alive through its soul which is teaching, and the soul of the teaching is the teacher. The book, while exposing principles of the teaching, itself is the part of teaching – a delegate of our teacher when he is not physically with us, a beautiful flower from the garden of Wisdom.

This book is about song and movement

About the song divine, that calls existence to be and non-entity into existence and the movement of the unceasing flow of shapes, forms and bodies, that enter the ray of sublime emanation.

It is a guide, a teaching, a map and a journey

A journey of the soul, that leads from the source to the source. Descending from the loft where we come from down to the level of senses, to accomplish what we are here for, in order to ascend to where we are going. A guide that reveals the utter insignificance of being particle and the absolute might of the divine order, dwelling in a hidden state within all forms, that are woven into the garment that covers emptiness, stretching from the realm of the heavenly bodies right to the grain of sand on the shore. Turning all beings, parts and particles, each by itself and all in union, towards the One who gives motion and life. A teaching of the people on the path, who drink the water of wisdom straight from the spring. They are teaching to wake up, to become aware, to recognize and to purify, and the utter submission to none, but the One. Gaining freedom from the cage of the body, breaking the chains of gravitation that keep the bird of the soul from soaring up, into the sky. A map for those, looking for truth within this world of reflection. Walking the path of discovery, that leads to treasures along the way, buried deep in the jungle of confusion - the jewel and pearls of poverty, humility, completion and perfection.

The book is talking about the levels

of wisdom, the levels of soul, the levels of existence, the levels of the universe, the levels of the kingdoms of the earth, the levels of the elements, the levels of the creature that was fashioned in the image of God. Creations crown, enabled to choose the direction. The ladder leading up or down - the bridge - the window through which the out- and inside meet, mirror of the cosmic body.

The book is resounding

from the tune of Sama'a that makes all beings remember the source whence the universe flows, to witness, experience, to praise and to rise. The Adhan calling the faithful in the congregation of the entire existence.

The book is telling

about those on the move, about those who are changing and those who arrived to transmit what came down from the dim room of past ages and pass on the lamp that cuts through the darkness, as a light in the mist on the river of life, winding its way up to the sea. Song is, before it is sung - it belongs to the world of coming to be, its echo reveals movement from under its veil, the fragrance of its expression. It even remains when the singing ceases - this book is about song and movement.

Reading the book Sama’a is as if one follows a voice that is saying a prayer, a prayer that comes forth from an infinite breath. With each time reading this book I have wished to hear with a pure and clear ear the pureness, majesty and beauty of this prayer, that in circles both narrowing and widening professes its origin from the One Creator and its submission towards Him and glorifies His names.

To read the book Sama’a is to receive a gift, because reading it causes involuntarily wishing to repeat the prayer contained therein, that with each sentence gives us an example to view the Mercy, the Wisdom and the Singularity of God in His creation.

I thank the author, the teacher, Javad, for giving me an opportunity to translate the book Sama’a and thus through the speech, that God has given, to thank Him for this book.

This book is like a rose-bud,
she opens slowly and lets her splendor shine.
The splendor is the knowledge and wisdom,
which enlightens the how, why and wherefore of life.
Illuminates us the way towards our Exalted Creator.
Thanks to the one, whose will it was
that I obtained the opportunity to assist the translator's work.
